Sinds 1870 brouwt de familie Meens op ambachtelijke, traditionele wijze haar Alfa Bieren. Een onafhankelijke familiebrouwerij, gelegen tussen de groene heuvels van het Zuid-Limburgse buurtschap Thull in Schinnen, is haar traditie en receptuur altijd trouw gebleven. Alfa Edel Pils is voor het tweede jaar op rij verkozen tot Beste Pils ter wereld! De geschiedenis van de Limburgse familiebrouwerij wordt verteld aan de hand van vijf generaties Meens.
